Matter & Motion

THE SOURCE

Natural wool and European linen, Masters of Linen™ certified. These noble fibers are selected for their traceability and structural excellence, ensuring the work’s longevity and heritage value.

GESTURE & LEGACY

The process begins with the manual perforation of designs on tracing paper to create the traditional templates. Using an indigo mixture and a cotton "doll," the design is hand-stamped onto the linen. It is then that the master embroiderers exercise their expertise, translating the blue ink into intricate, traditional Madeira stitches. Each piece is hand-washed, ironed, and cut out, concluding its journey with the official IVBAM guarantee seal — the ultimate certification of artisanal excellence and heritage.

THE ARTIST'S HAND

The base structure requires meticulous manual definition. Through crochet, latch-hooking, and free-form fiber manipulation on raw jute fabric, the artist’s hand defines the very foundation of the work. By intertwining natural wool, cotton, and lyocell, a unique tactile landscape is created. This direct, physical interaction with the fibers is where the texture, volume, and artistic rhythm of the final piece are born.

A piece of art does not merely occupy a space; it initiates a silent dialogue with those who inhabit it.
